Best shoe ever, August 5, 2011 This review is from: Spira Women's WaveWalker DX3 Walking Shoe (Apparel) If you are on your feet all the time, there is no better shoe than this one--and I have tried many brands and inserts. I work 12-hour shifts and am on my feet the whole time. I don't even want to think how many miles I walk during my shifts. This shoe has been the only one I've found that makes the miles I log bearable. I used to be in pain the last four hours of my shift and go home limping, my feet in such agony that I couldn't get to sleep for hours. Spira Wavewalker changed that. Now I don't even think of my feet when I'm at work because they're not hurting, and there is no pain to keep me awake when I get home. I know some sites say that the shoe size runs large and to order a half size smaller, but I haven't found this to be the case: the shoe is true to size. Because I wear these all the time at work and put so many miles on them, I replace them every few months. It's money well spent, though, and I've been able to find good deals online.

I tried a few other specialty shoes and this was the best, for me. I have a high instep and arch. Shoe does run a little big though. I bought a 9 and it was a tad too tight, my 9.5 is too big so I wear thick socks. That's my only complaint.
