I LOVE Reef Sandles! I completely wore out my last pair(after a LONG time of hard wear) and was sad to have to buy a new pair. So I got these with complete confidence in their comfort for my upcoming trip to Europe. However, when I go this particular pair, the skin where the strap came between my toes was getting rubbed raw each time I wore them (even bleeding a bit). At first I thought it was my winter feet getting used to sandals, but then I was a little worried after my 3rd wearing, since I was planning on doing significant walking around in them (like I did my last pair). After giving them a thorough inspection, I realized the manufacturer had been a bit sloppy - where the tab on the thong part had been stitched over the strap, there was dried glue and jagged leather on the back - the finishing wasn't great and was doing a number on my skin. So, I took some nail clippers to them and a file and cut off the glue and filed back the leather material so it didn't rub so badly on... Read more

I wear a 5.5, so ordered these in a 6. They're a little longer than they need to be, but just fine.

Like other reviewers, I bought them for the arch support, which is very nice. I have relatively high arches, and my feet get really sore after a day in most flip flops (or bare). They don't get sore at all in these, both because of the arch support and the rather cushioning foot bed. I'd be happy to walk quite a distance in them.

The other major plus with these is that the straps don't give me blisters or cut my feet, as *many* flip flops (Old Navy, Gap) do. This is both because the strap is wide enough, and because of the jersey lining on the bottom of the strap. Sometimes the edge of the strap, where there's a seam, rubs a little bit -- the only reason these aren't 5-stars -- and it is a little uncomfortable, but again, since it's not enough to cause a blister, it doesn't stop me from wearing them.

The only other thing, which is a style thing not... Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing to write home to mom about....., August 29, 2011
At first they hurt my feet, didn't think that was possible with flip flops but these had something rubbing on-top of my foot. The worst part about these and no one mentioned this!!! In they're reviews!! Was they make the bottoms of your feet black!!! I've washed them in the washing machine and still making my feet black!! The bed has also condensed after less than a couple weeks of wear!
