Heel looks much higher than it is- The 3" heel is offset by the 3/4" fore-foot platform, so my actual foot-tilt elevation is just over 2". These are the shoes that people stop me to ask about, & gush over. The front center-seam (like the line down the back of your black stockings...) combined with the leather-laced strap & buckle is edgy, & attracts a lot of attention- But, they're just modest black leather heels (innocent wink), so I wear them everywhere & w/ everything. My feet have hurt most of my life in ill-fitting, poorly made, too-tight, non-leather-lined shoes. These fit beautifully, are all-day comfortable, and breathable. The insole is cushioned, & the outsole is further cushioned for shock absorbtion (under the ball of the foot) w/ rubber soles. I just love them, & have several pair!
