Either the sole is too thin and I feel every single rock I step on, the strap comes down between my toes a little too much to one side or the other, or something else that inevitably causes me to toss them out. Then I stumbled on the Havaianas and I'm in love!!! They're absolutely perfect!!! The rubber soles are thick enough that I don't feel the ground beneath my shoes, but soft and flexible too. The strap comes down between the toes in exactly the right spot. They're just the perfect summer flip-flop! Ever since I bought these, I refuse to wear any other type. They don't hurt between my toes, and they are like walking on clouds. I even bought some for my kids. They seem to last a long time as well; I have had my current two pairs for two summers now.
