ASICS Has never let me down!, June 11, 2012 This review is from: ASICS Women's GEL-DS Sky Speed 2 Running Shoe (Apparel) Over the past year, I've trained for everything from C25K (round 3!) to a half marathon in these shoes. I've just ordered pair #2 to get me through 18 weeks of marathon training. My old pair has about 350mi on them with enough life left to be rotated with my new pair until they really wear out.
ASICS tend to run small, so I ordered a half size bigger and am glad I did. Out of the box, these fit exactly right and, as with my last pair of ASICS running shoes, didnt need to be broken in. To be honest, I thought the asymmetrical lacing design was a gimmick. It turns out that it actually does make a difference! No more pressure points on the top of my foot, no matter how long I run! The fit is secure and comfortable. My only complaint is that my foot-pod sits funny, but thats a cosmetic issue- it doesnt affect either the shoe or the device.

Asics fits so well...they are try to size. I am a size 6. The shoes are lightweight and comfortable. I do in-house work-outs in them on the elliptical and other floor exercises. Would definitely buy them again.
