Gorgeous! but..., September 29, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Steve Madden Women's Freewway Boot (Apparel) It doesnt have a zipper, many reviews say it's hard to put on so just get a half size bigger. I am a size 8, i bought 8.5 and slips on no problem (barefoot) With thicker socks, its quite hard, takes effort putting it on and pulling it off. With thin socks you'll be fine. The boots holds it shape, heel height, is perfect, this could easily be everyday boots. The reason why i knocked off a star is coz the upper leather is a bit thin for me, like cardboard thin, the toe and heel areas are hard though.

They do NOT go on easily and some days I just don't have the patience to fuss with 'em. I would wear them ALOT more if they had a zipper so that I could get them on more easily.
